I bought this to relieve neck and shoulder tension that builds as I sit in front of my computer all day for work. As every outlet near my computer is occupied, I needed something that did not have to be plugged in. This definately gets very hot in the microwave, in only 3 minutes, and holds the heat for about 15-20min. Stays in place around the neck and I also drop it down between my back and the chair to get some heat on the back muscles. The "cherry aroma" advertised is really more of a sour cherry - not totally unpleasant, but certainly not going to add any aromatherapy componant to this wrap.

The Cherry stone neck pillow is much better than all the other neck wraps out there I have purchased all the other kinds sold here on Amazon hoping for relief from a sore neck and shoulder, it stays hot longer and the heat is stronger as the weight of the wrap really helps the heat sink into sore neck muscles. Buy this if you are looking for a great quality item, I use it everyday and its great.

This is much better than the typical neck wraps in that it does NOT have that awful smell to it when heated! That's a plus as well as it seems to retain the heat better. Very durable and washable is a major plus!
