I bought this back in December 2009. I used it for 8 months hoping to get better at it. It wasn't me it was the iron, a bad product. I had long hair and the iron got stuck in it. Then I had short hair and the iron didn't grab my hair. I have thick hair.

Very slow to heat up, keep hitting the on/off switch-it's in the way. Love the size, though.

I'm happy this product is still available. It's the only thing I've found that easily tames my frizzy hair. I don't like a regular curling iron without the brush, for some reason the brush is so much easier for me to work with. This is my third curling iron brush in I don't know how many years. Curling iron #2 lasted over four years and some of the teeth finally started to break, maybe from traveling in a suitcase, I don't know. Yes, occassionaly some strands of hair get caught in the middle of the iron and yes, it would be nice if there was an automatic shut off, but the price is right. I'm just so glad I can still find this product!

I loved working with this company! I let them know that the tip of the curling iron was just too hot to handle, and they insisted that I return it. GREAT customer service ...for that you get 5 stars (*****), but the product gets 2 (**). I would order from this company again.

This is the second Helen of Troy Super Mega 1 1/2 curling irons that I have used. It is just what I wanted and the price is great,though the shipping cost is way too expensive. I am very please with this product and will order another one whenever this one wears out.
